Each financial year, Richard Place Dobson (RPD), a local Accountancy firm in Crawley, chooses a local charity to support and fundraise for. Driven by us (RPD Foundation), we have decided to continue supporting the Crawley Food Bank Partnership for a second year, working with Crawley Open House and the Easter Team.

The Crawley Food Bank Partnership relies on local communities, organisations, businesses, and other charities to support them and their work. They have worked with Crawley Open House and The Easter Team for almost thirty years to help those in need, and unfortunately demand continues to increase almost daily.

Together they help tackle food poverty in Crawley by providing food and essentials parcels to people in need. This goes beyond coffee, sugar, pasta, and tinned goods. They also encourage people to donate goods, such as clothes, gifts, and daily essentials, such as toiletries, sanitary items, and new underwear.

Many charities are struggling to cope with the effects of the cost-of-living crisis as donations fall and demand for their services continues to increase. We are proud to support this local partnership, helping them continue their fantastic work.

We are kicking off our first fundraising event at RPD’s annual quiz night on the 8th of February at The Hawth, in Crawley, where teams of four will compete for the winning spot. At the end of February, the fourDirectors at RPD are cooking a meal at Crawley Open House and we are also finalising our annual foot golf tournament, amongst other events and activities.
